Tribaut Brut Origine

Tribaut Brut Origine

£28.00Price

Tribaut Brut Origine is a fresh and fruity Champagne, middle to full bodied, that shows great length and good balance on the palate.

It is a blend of 50% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, selected from 8 different terroirs;  and includes 20% reserve wines aged in large oak casks (foudres). For anyone querying the high proportion of Pinot Meunier, the grape is highly favoured by Krug.

Matured 30 months sur lie before disgorgement; dosage is 8 grams of sugar per litre.

Since 2019 Tribaut has been one of the first Champagne houses to convert to fully organic growing – a rarity in Champagne and something that for the large Houses is almost impossible.
